The new color variants of the phone are available for purchase through Amazon, Mi.com, MI Home, and retail outlets. In addition to Champagne Gold, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Redmi Note 9 Pro are also available in options of Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black colors. The phone was launched in India in March 2020.

The Champagne Gold variants of the Redmi Note 9 Pro are priced at Rs 13,999, which is of its 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants. The 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant model of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and champagne gold variants are priced at Rs 16,999.

The design and specifications of the Redmi Note Note 9 Pro largely match the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. But there are some differences also. The dual-SIM Redmi Note 9 Pro runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) IPS display. The aspect ratio is 20:9 and has the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
