Realme X7 Series To Launch Soon in India, Know Specifications

Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Seth tweeted that the company became the first company to bring 5G smartphones to India with Realme X50 Pro in February this year and is now planning to expand 5G technology in 2021 with the Realme India Realme X7 series.

The Realme X7 series will be launched in India next year and has been confirmed by the company's CEO Madhav Seth through Twitter. The lineup includes two phones, the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro, which were launched in China in early September as affordable 5G smartphones. Now, Seth has shared that the company is planning to launch the Realme 7 series in India in 2021. So far, there is no definite date of launch, but the Realme X7 series can be expected to launch in the first quarter of 2021.

In September, rumors of the Realme X7 Lite were also surfaced and the phone was reportedly spotted in TENNA listing with model number RMX2173. As the name suggests, the phone may be the lightest variant of the series, but the company has not shared any official information on it at the moment.

Realme X7 Specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme X7 runs on the Realme UI based on Android 10. It has a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display includes a 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. The Realme X7 comes with an octa-core dimensity 800U chipset and LPDDR4X RAM up to 8 GB.

In addition to the cameras, the Realme X7 comes with a quad rear camera setup, which includes a 64-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, a 2-megapixel black and white portrait sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. In the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie sensor with f/2.5 aperture.

The Realme X7 comes with UFS 2.1 storage up to 128 GB. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C ports. Sensors on the board include geomagnetic, ambient light, proximity, gyroscope, and accelerometers. The Realme X7 comes with a 4,300mAh battery and supports 65-watt fast charging. It measures 160.9x74.4x8.1mm and weighs 175 grams.

Realme X7 Pro Specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme X7 Pro runs on the Realme UI based on Android 10. It 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display, which includes a 91.6 percent screen to body ratio and fifth generation Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. The maximum brightness of the phone goes up to 1,200 nits and gives 100% coverage of DCI-P3 wide color gamat and 103% coverage of NTSC color space. The Realme X7 Pro comes with an octa-core dimensity 1000+ chipset and LPDDR4X RAM up to 8 GB.

The Realme X7 Pro also comes with a quad rear camera setup, with a 64-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, a 2-megapixel black and white portrait sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. In the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie sensor with an f/2.45 aperture.

The Realme X7 Pro comes with UFS 2.1 storage and turbo right technology up to 256 GB. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-frequency GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C ports. Sensors on the board include geomagnetic, ambient light, proximity, gyroscope, and accelerometers. The Realme X7 Pro comes with a 4,500mAh battery and supports 65 watts of fast charging. It measures 160.8x75.1x8.5mm and weighs 184 grams.
